Specialist / Hospital Care
If a GP or another member of our health care team believes you need hospital treatment or specialist care elsewhere, they will refer you on through the Choose & Book System where possible. Once a referral is sent eletronically via this system, paperwork is generated and sent out to you with a unique reference number, password and various hospital choices. This will enable you to call the Choose & Book Appointments line to state your hospital preference and book your appointment.
The Choose & Book Appointments Line can be very busy at times and it would seem that calling them in the afternoon is best.
